The food here is generally good. I especially enjoyed the minestrone soup - free from pasta - and the fish cakes. The staff are friendly and helpful and the decor is attractive. There were two things I wasn't so happy with, namely, they don't serve medium glasses of wine, only small or large. Also, the main course was served on really cold plates, thus taking some of the pleasure out of the otherwise delicious meal.
One of the best restaurants in the area.Good quality food at decent prices.Makes a difference when the family that own it run it and stay locally. Have been in for coffee, lunch, dinner for 2 and dinner for 16. Every time they are welcoming and the service exceptional. If you have a chance, don't miss the pumpkin soup
