First time here and the reviews are accurate! Excellent family run restaurant. We had the reasonably priced taster menu which was excellent. Really good Scottish menu. We will be back!

Absolutely fantastic, excellent food, simple and cooked well and everything was perfectly seasoned. We were delighted with the scallops and salmon for starter and our slow cooked beef and venison dishes were fantastic. Service was warm and friendly. Not the cheapest but good value considering the taste of the food! Highly recommend and great to have such a good restaurant in Bearsden!
Monadh Kitchen is almost very good. On my last visit I had the roast beef which was a 3 supplement on the lunch menu but it had to go back because it was tough and chewy. It was supposed to be pink but looked overdone and unfortunately was cut in a single slice about a centimetre thick, which didn't help. The replacement dish was chicken and that was fine. The rest of the dishes ordered by our party were satisfactory and the coffee is good. The service was pleasant and helpful.
Upon stepping through the entry door you immediately soak up the rich ambience, without any particular theme, only leading you to expect the best food, previously never considered or imagined. The decor, only experienced during day time hours, would create a wonderful atmosphere whilst dining from dusk into the late evening. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. There are special menus offering value when a full menu is not in your sites. The staff could not be more helpful.
