Literally this real state office is a joke and disgrace among letting agents in the market, seriously. Their service in incredibly poor and their response is very slow!!!To be honest, the general manager, Libby, seems decent and nice person. But some of the staff were unprofessional, mean, rude and aggressive. So, where do I start??? OK let me write a list1-When I moved in the property was not professionally cleaned.2-The gas central heating was broken, I had about 14 days without heating. My children and I were freezing particularly in January but they did not care. It was extremely difficult to take a shower during winter.3-They sent 5 engineers but they have failed. It took them nearly 4 months to repair it. When they did, the boiler was making huge sound like it is going to be explode. My little daughter (3 years old) was crying every time this happened.4-The water mixer was broken, drops of water keep coming out continuously. It was annoying especially at night.5-The wardrobe was broken and it could fall down any time. I was struggling to keep my children away from it every day.6-The floor boards were moving with some elevated nails (0.5 cm or more) wounded my foot. At the beginning, they refused to repair the wardrobe and the floor. They only did it after I threatened to inform the local authorities (i.e. City Council and NHS) about that.7-One window cannot be closed8-The doorbell was broken9-The bathroom door was broken10-A couple of light switches were broken11-Finally, we decided to move out in order to end this nightmare. We stopped living in the property 2 months before the lease ends. I paid 2 months for nothing. When we moved out, we returned the flat exactly the same condition just like when we moved in. But they charged us for cleaning and for the property being not airy!!! But I think I know what we have been charged for. The day I moved out, a women came to inspect the property. During that, she broke something in the bathroom. I believe they charged us for what she did to cover her! Believe it or not, we celebrated when moved out. This is what I remember at the moment. I pretty sure there are some other things but I forgot. I highly recommend to avoid this letting agent as possible as you can. At the end, I submitted an official complaint against them to the City Council.I know someone may come up and try to defend or justify, but this is the truth whether you like it or not.. People always hate the truth. I dont expect any of them to be brave enough and admit what happened to us. However, my family and I found a much better home and we are living in peace again.
I unfortunately live below a property managed by Parker Properties. The flat they managed has flooded from both the boiler and the bathroom into my flat 3 times now in the past 2 years. Not quick to get a plumber out and was told tonight they only have one plumber that can come out (they aren't sure when) and cannot call another company as they don't know if they are insured. As this IS an emergency situation (my bed is flooded and my property damaged at 4am) this is useless and incompetent handling of business. Other tenants have also told me they like to keep cleaning deposits and charge for damages that were in place before they ever moved in. Avoid, avoid, avoid these amateurs if you want your property looked after as an owner and also as a prospective tenant as are unprofessional and as slow to action as cold tar!
We moved to Scotland and we supposed to start a new life full of hope, but they turned our life to a nightmare. My family was broken because of them. It's a shame!!!
We had a great experience renting with Parker Property. All of the staff were easy to deal with and quick to respond to any queries and always friendly and helpful. Their fuss-free and direct approach was always appreciated. We had some building works going on for a period of our tenancy which was well managed by Parker Property. We were always well informed and any issues were very quickly resolved. We would certainly rent with them again and would strongly recommend them as an agency to anyone looking for a rental property. Having dealt with a lot of different rental agencies in the past (both good and awful!), I can happily say that Parker Property was up there with the best. Many thanks to Libby and the team for a great experience living in one of their properties.
Libby and her team at Parker Property have managed my flat since 2009 and I have no hesitation in recommending them. I have found them to be friendly, very responsive to any requests, and any work required at the property has been dealt with very promptly and efficiently. They've kept me well informed with any issues at the property, and tenancy handovers were seamless from my point of view with very little lapsed time between tenancies. Great job.
