The hotel was beautiful and the staff were 1st class and very welcoming and helpful, but as we had a voucher for 200 we had booked an overnight with an evening meal and although we booked the meal for 7-30pm which most people would think that was the start of the night but the main course on the menu was limited and two out of the five main courses the kitchen had ran out so if you are a vegetarian a fish lover or liked duck then that was the only choice so we had to leave the hotel and find somewhere else for dinner and spent 60 for the pleasure so overall the experience of the hotel and staff were lovely and if the chef had planned ahead and an Asda on there doorstep it would have added to our experience at the Boclair.
Christmas gift voucher gave my wife and I an overnight stay with a balance towards in house dining. On arrival found that full restaurant menu was not available. With some doubts decided to stay. Then found the bar out of bounds due to a funeral. However the hotel is beautiful, our room was impressive. Service could not have been better. The light bites menu dinner and the next morning breakfast excellent.Strongly recommend this hotel but would advise checking availability of services prior to booking

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff was attentive and caring at both the front desk and in the restaurant. We stayed in the Rona room and it was perfect - cozy and comfortable, yet chic and modern. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. There are many options to choose from, as well as a breakfast buffet of cold cuts, cereals and juices to supplement. If ever we come back to Scotland, we are definitely booking a room here again!
Excellent service by a young staff. Lucy was especially attentive. From the friendly greeting as soon as we entered the building to our goodbye at the end, the staff were extremely professional. Food was well presented, delicious and good value on their set menu, although two out of the three lamb dishes we ordered were a wee bit more fatty than usual. Will definitely return.
